 To get emailed updates for the daily readings please follow these steps:

 1) Click the Subscribe button at the top of the page:



2) Enter your email address in the 'Subscribe to this Blog' box

3) You should next get a message from Feedburner to confirm - please click:

  1. I'am not a robot and
  2. Complete Subscription Request.

4) You will get a confirmation screen.

5) (Important) You will get an email to confirm the subscription. It's important that you click the link in the email otherwise the messages can't be sent. 

6) Emails will be sent daily (except Sundays) from the day after Ash Wednesday to just before Easter. If you miss one, please just visit the blog to see all the readings so far.

This is a five week set of Bible readings for your personal devotions. The theme is ‘generous God, generous people’, or more simply, our calling as stewards of all that God has given us. Each week tackles one aspect of the overall theme. DAY 25: Do not be hard-hearted or Tight fisted

Reading : Deuteronomy 15:7-11 ‘I command you to be openhanded towards your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.’ v11 If anyone is poor among your fellow Israelites in any of the towns of the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward them. Rather, be openhanded and freely lend them whatever they need.
